The THA Chapter of Greece present at the XIV Triple Helix Association Conference in Heidelberg

The THA Chapter of Greece was represented at the XIV Triple Helix Association (THA) Conference in Heidelberg, Germany (25-27 September 2016) by Prof. Panayiotis Ketikidis and Dr Adrian Solomon who presented a paper entitled ‘A Quintuple Helix Framework for the Implementation of Low Carbon Supply Chains under Innovative Theoretical Convergence)’, organized and moderated a session on EU Funding Opportunities and participated in the General Assembly of the THA by reporting of the progress of the THA Chapter of Greece.

This year’s International Triple Helix Conference organised by the Triple Helix Association in cooperation with the International Triple Helix Institute is building a broad platform of academics and practitioners to address the local and the global challenges of our time. The conference organisers invite participants with a broad background and interests to join the debates and share findings from empirical research, experiences from policy interventions, and insights from knowledge transfer practice.

Prof. Ketikidis and Dr Solomon met with key names in the field of triple helix interactions (i.e. Prof. Henry Etzkowitz – the initiator of the triple helix concept, Dr Dimitris Corpakis – EU Commission DG Research, innovations specialists, industrialists and other leaders in this field).
